ThermoPride Oil Furnaces
Thermo Pride oil furnaces feature the Octatherm™ heat exchanger, for maximum efficiency, maximum comfort and dependable operation. Fabricated out of thick 13-gauge copper coated steel, the heat exchanger has a unique eight-sided design for more efficient heat transfer. The copper coating prevents corrosion from outside damp.
ThermoPride furnaces provide the most comfortable temperature rise in the industry. Temperature rise is the difference in air temperature from the point where it enters the furnace to the point where it enters the rooms of your home. A low temperature rise means you feel cold air blowing when the furnace is on. ThermoPride has a standard 70 degree temperature rise across its full line of oil furnaces. That’s 30 degrees warmer than any competitive furnace can offer.
ThermoPride oil furnaces are built with parts that ensure quiet operation, comfortable temperatures, fuel efficiency and cost savings. The ceramic refractory and high-speed flame retention burner provides more complete combustion and higher fuel efficiency. The automatic/manual fan and limit control starts and stops the blower fan at the right temperatures, so that only warm comfortable air enters the house. The air filter is washable, so you don’t have to keep replacing it. Even the cabinet is constructed to increase heat retention and lower combustion noise. The AFUE ratings for ThermoPride oil furnaces vary from 78% up to 86%.
The furnaces come in four configurations: lowboys for basement use or where height is limited; highboys for basements, utility rooms and closets; horizontal models for crawl spaces; and counterflow models for homes where the furnace is above the ductwork.
