ThermoPride Propane Furnaces

Thermo Pride offers several styles of propane furnaces, in both upflow (for use in most locations) and counterflow/horizontal models (for use above ductwork). On their premier units, a two-stage gas valve keeps your furnace on low-fire on mild days. Then on colder days, the second stage operates, giving you maximum heat when you need it and only when you need it. These units consume less gas because the furnace operates at low fire 70 to 80 percent of the time. All models come with a “Peace of Mind” warranty that covers the cost of defective parts for the first five years and covers the heat exchanger for life.

Propane Furnace
All of Thermo Pride’s propane furnaces have a 16-gauge #409 stainless steel heat exchanger that provides the most comfortable temperature rise in the industry. Temperature rise is the difference in air temperature from the point where it enters the furnace to the point where it enters the rooms of your home. A low temperature rise means you feel cold air blowing when the furnace is on. ThermoPane has a standard 70 degree temperature rise across its full line of propane furnaces. That’s 30 degrees warmer than any competitive furnace can offer. A secondary heat exchanger captures the remaining usable heat from the flue products, for even great fuel efficiency.

ThermoPride’s MHA1/MDA1 series furnaces are best for homes where the chimney is properly sized and lined and where annual heating costs are moderate. The CHB1/CDB1 series of furnaces are best for homes that have high fuel bills, non-working chimneys or too much dryness during the heating season.
